I am an ecologist, working on aquatic ecosystems. It is essential to study the impacts on these highly vulnerable habitats. Changes in biodiversity of zooplankton communities are often used to assess the effects of such impacts.  Diversity exists at several organisational levels, from intra-individual to supra-individual (taxonomic, phylogenetic, genetic and functional diversity). There is a diversity of diversities. In my work, I study zooplankton communities of aquatic habitats. After species-level identification of my samples, I compare each sample site according to taxonomic diversity with different statistical methods (e.g., Rényi diversity, Hill's expected number of species) and supplement it with the analysis of functional and phylogenetic diversity (e.g., Rao quadratic method) to explore the community organizing force. (e.g., environmental screening, biotic interactions). In addition, I examine the relationships between community composition and environmental parameters using multivariate methods.
