Analyzing the effects of environmental stress on fishes
Earlier, I have been working as an research assistant in a clinical laboratory. During my MSc studies in Clinical Laboratory MSc at the University of Pécs (PTE-ÁOK), I have learned the basics of immunology and cytometry. My PhD project and Cooperative Doctoral Fellowship (KDP) are both focused onto the effect of environmental stress onto fishes. Specifically, I will investigate the potentially beneficial effects of environmental effects onto the health, microbiome and sex of fishes, using the zebrafish model and cyprinid food fish species. In my studies, I will employ several ‘omics’ platforms, including those based on high throughput sequencing technologies.
