The aims of the professional training program are:
- to provide the opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge and practical skills
- to connect theoretical and practical knowledge
- to learn about the workplace and work processes
- to practice professional competencies
The length of time for the professional training is indicated in the qualification requirements of the “Higher-level vocational training” as well as in the Bachelor's and Master's programs.
The place for professional training is a legal entity or an economic organization. Based on the cooperation agreement between the higher education institute and the student employment contract signed by the student, the professional training place is required to provide an opportunity for continuous professional training. The professional training place was previously registered by the Educational Authority.
