Csilla Krifaton is an assistant professor with extensive experience in research and higher education. Her primary research focuses on genotoxicologic and endocrine-disrupting chemicals, aiming to better understand the biological effects of hazardous compounds. In the field of food and feed safety, her work focuses on the biological assessment of mycotoxins and the development of effective detoxification strategies. She is also actively involved in the study of emerging micropollutants, including natural and synthetic hormones, with particular emphasis on their detection, degradation, and environmental risks. In addition, she investigates the biological effects of UV filters as environmentally relevant contaminants. Her work integrates molecular and ecotoxicological approaches, contributing to both scientific advancement and practical environmental risk assessment, while also supporting high-quality education and talent development.
