I am studying the steroid hormone-degrading ability of bacteria isolated from surface water and agro-wastewater in Hungary, and I am involved in the development of a microbial consortium what is capable of biodegrading steroid hormones. On top of that I perform microbiome analyses using classical microbiological and molecular biological methods for different projects.
