She graduated in 2016 at the University of Veterinary Medicine as Biologist (MSc). She completed her thesis at the zebrafish lab of the Department of Aquaculture. She joined the fish molecular genetics and genomics research group in January 2017. Until September 2018 she was employed as research associate, afterwards as PhD student. Her major is the sex determination of African catfish and the molecular background of sexual differentiation in this species; furthermore, she participates in population genetic and genomic studies, in DNA marker development, in gene expression analyses and in the education of “Fish genomics” and “Fish biotechnology and genome manipulation” subjects.
