Zsombor Bányai obtained his Master degree in landscape architecture in 2022. Then applied to MATE's Doctoral School of Environmental Studies. In his diploma, he dealt with the investigation and evaluation of ecological corridors. In his current research, he deals with invasion biology, including the spread of the red swamp crayfish (Procambarus clrakii) and its effects in Hungary. In addition, as a member of the research group, he contributes to the assessment of the ecological status and fish stock of fish farming facilities, the assessment of aquatic ecological corridors, and the examination of micropollutants of anthropogenic origin in fish and surface watercourses.
